Procedures Performed Under General Anaesthesia

Breast augmentation aims to enhance the shape and size of the breasts in a harmonious, natural way. A silicone implant is placed to achieve a soft, natural feel and proportional appearance. During the preoperative consultation, we discuss the desired size, shape and implant type in detail. The procedure is performed under general anaesthesia, typically with one night of clinical observation. Recovery is gradual; most daily activities can be resumed after a few days, while full physical activity is recommended after 4–6 weeks. I predominantly use MOTIVA implants.

A breast lift restores the shape and firmness of sagging breasts. Excess skin is removed, and the glandular tissue is repositioned to a more youthful location. The Ribeiro technique provides an internal support structure using the patient’s own tissue, resulting in a more durable outcome. The procedure does not increase breast size but can be combined with implants if desired. Recovery takes a few weeks, with the final shape developing gradually.

Breast reduction aims to decrease the size and weight of overly large breasts while improving their shape. Excess glandular tissue, fat and skin are removed, resulting in lighter, firmer and more proportionate breasts. Beyond aesthetics, the procedure often relieves back, neck and shoulder pain and improves posture and physical activity. Recovery takes 4–6 weeks, and scars refine over time.

Combined procedures involve performing multiple techniques in one session — for example, a breast lift together with implant augmentation. This allows the breast to become both firmer and fuller, restoring the décolletage. The goal is a natural, harmonious result tailored to the patient’s individual needs.

Abdominoplasty tightens the abdominal wall and removes excess skin. It is particularly recommended after pregnancy or significant weight loss, when the skin and muscles have become lax. The procedure also includes tightening of the abdominal muscles, resulting in a flatter, firmer abdomen. It is performed under general anaesthesia, with full physical activity recommended after 6 weeks.

Liposuction refines body contours in areas where stubborn fat deposits persist despite diet and exercise. It is not a weight‑loss method but a contouring technique. The procedure can be performed under general or local anaesthesia, depending on the number of areas treated. Recovery is quick, and compression garments are required for several weeks. Results are long‑lasting if body weight remains stable.

A facelift restores youthful contours of the face and neck. The procedure elevates and tightens sagging skin and deeper tissues while preserving natural facial features. It is performed under general anaesthesia, with recovery taking a few weeks. The result is a refreshed, natural appearance without overcorrection. Techniques include SMASectomy, SMAS plication and SMAS lift.

These procedures remove excess skin and fat from the upper arms or thighs, particularly after significant weight loss. They are performed under general anaesthesia, with gradual recovery and scars that refine over time. The goal is firmer, more aesthetically pleasing limb contours.

Gynecomastia surgery treats enlarged male breast tissue. After liposuction, excess glandular tissue and fat are removed through a hidden incision, resulting in a flatter, more masculine chest. The procedure is performed under general anaesthesia. Recovery is quick, and a compression vest is required for several weeks.

Procedures Performed Under Local Anaesthesia

(General anaesthesia is available upon request)

Otoplasty corrects protruding or asymmetric ears. The procedure is performed under local anaesthesia, reshaping the cartilage to achieve a natural, balanced ear contour. Recovery is quick, with bandage for one week.

Blepharoplasty removes excess skin and fat from the upper or lower eyelids, resulting in a fresher, more open appearance. The procedure is performed under local anaesthesia, with recovery in a few days. Scars are fine and barely visible.

Labiaplasty corrects the shape, size and symmetry of the labia minora or majora to relieve everyday discomfort and improve self confidence. The procedure is typically performed under local anaesthesia, offering quick recovery and long lasting results. Most patients feel more comfortable within a few weeks and are satisfied with the aesthetic improvement.

Skin tumours are excised with an appropriate safety margin, and the area is closed with maximal aesthetic precision. The goal is complete removal with the best possible cosmetic outcome. The procedure is performed under local anaesthesia, and all specimens are sent for histological examination.

Following trauma, surgery or infection, soft‑tissue defects can be reconstructed using local flaps or free skin grafts. The aim is to restore both function and appearance.

Scar revision improves wide, depressed or cosmetically disturbing scars (hypertrophic/keloid). The scar is removed or reshaped to achieve a more refined, less visible result. Recovery is quick, and scars continue to improve over time.

Fat grafting involves harvesting fat from one area of the body, preparing it gently and injecting it into regions with volume loss or contour irregularities. It provides natural, long‑lasting results and can be combined with other procedures.

Minimally-Invasive Treatments

Fillers restore facial volume, smooth fine lines and enhance contours. The treatment is quick, effective and produces natural‑looking results.

Botulinum toxin softens dynamic wrinkles. The effect develops within a few days and lasts 3–6 months, resulting in a fresh, rested appearance.

Skin boosters provide deep hydration and improve skin quality. Micro‑injections of hyaluronic acid result in firmer, more radiant skin.

Polynucleotides stimulate skin regeneration, improving elasticity and texture. They are particularly recommended for dull, tired or sun‑damaged skin.

Kenalog injections treat thickened, keloid or inflamed scars. The scar becomes flatter, softer and less noticeable.
